Pretty Procrastination

I'm mean't to be writing an essay, but pretty blogs are distracting me and my pile of books are boring me. Warpaint are keeping me company and I wanted to share their pretty video with you. I adore the colours and it's adding as inspiration to another lovely thing floating around my head at the moment. I will share more creative work with you soon but for now I really should get back to this silly little essay.

Studio Day turns Labour Day

I haven't been very good on the blogging front lately. But I have something to share! I had a text at 1am on Tuesday morning saying that my dear friend was in labour! I was up till 4.30am with regular updates, packing my bag, watching a bit of TV, until I got the green light to go to the delivery suite at 9am. Of all the days for Choo to go into labour, this was the one that actually fitted into my schedule! I was with her and her dear hubby for 7 of the 16 hours she was in labour and left after 10 hours in the delivery suite.

Alexander Thomson Mitchell was born on 11.01.11 at approx. 4pm weighing 8lb 4oz. I was amazed, awed and blown away by the whole thing. Watching their immense love for each other, watching and helping Choo bring a new life into the world. Nothing can describe it. I was truly honoured and so very proud of them.

I will be seeing my little Godson this weekend and will take lots of cute photos!

Let them eat Cake!

We stopped for cake at a cute Cafe on our last evening before the theatre and it seemed everyone else in the City had the same idea! It was so busy and after a ridiculous panic the hot chocolate and cake made up for it!

Vienna (Part Two)

The streets of Vienna are so beautiful. I took far too many photos and played with my new Diana too. Can't wait to see how they turned out!

Vienna (Part one)

I've been meaning to blog for over a week now but have been a little down and missing family. The Christmas break was so tiring stressful but magical being with my family. We had such an amazing time, although I only got to spend just over a day with my little sister, silly snow, but we made the best of it. Our Christmas on boxing day was so lovely! Delicious food, wine, presents and giggles. I was extremely spoilt, and overwhelmed with presents. I was overwhelmed just being with my family to be honest.
Here's a few photos from the first couple of days. Remnents of snow and closed down markets but still a magical Christmas in Vienna.
